CORNING, N.Y. (WENY) -- A Corning man is behind bars after police say they found meth, pot, and cash inside of a home in the City of Corning after executing a search warrant.

New York State Troopers say 33-year-old James Youngs was arrested and charged for criminal possession of a controlled substance, and criminal use of drug paraphernalia. Police say they seized 8 ounces of meth, 8 ounces of marijuana, drug paraphernalia, digital scales, and money.

The search warrant was executed at a home on Walter Smith Terrace.

Youngs was sent to the Steuben County Jail without bail. Police say the arrest stemmed from an investigation by the New York State Police, the Corning Police Department, the Steuben County Sheriff's Office, and the Steuben County DA's office.
