Today after a cold front exits the region temperatures will be dropping drastically overnight into Wednesday morning. We expect lows this evening falling into the single digits, late tonight into Wednesday. This cold front is bringing scattered snow showers within the Twin Tiers through the afternoon with highs rising near 34. Tonight sky should become partly cloudy with lows near 5 degrees.

As a secondary developing low pressure system pushes in through Wednesday, temperatures will be even colder. That front will bring another round of light snow showers with temperatures tapping out near 10 degrees. After that front exits partial clearing is expected, and temperature as a result overnight will be falling 7 degrees below 0.
