Mostly cloudy skies are likely Thursday with temperatures expected to rise into the lower 50s.  Low pressure will lift up through the Great Lakes with a cold front expected to swing through the Twin Tiers.  Scattered rain showers will develop by late Thursday afternoon with periods of rain likely Thursday night.  A few rumbles of thunder are also possible very early Friday as the cold front passes through.  Sunshine will return Friday along with gusty winds and colder temperatures.
