Snow Coming for Wednesday
As we head through the morning hours, scattered light snow will continue it's track into the Twin Tiers and Finger Lakes Region. Snow continues to develop through the afternoon, with pockets of moderate snow possible. At times today snowfall rates may range from 1/2" to 1" per hour. Through the afternoon the snow may have the opportunity to lift northward, drying things out briefly for portions of the Northern Tier of Pennsylvania. However, that will add more accumulations for the Southern Tier and Finger Lakes Region. Please be careful when driving around the area today, and plan for slick conditions! Snow will linger through early this evening, before tracking eastward into early Thursday. Temperatures today will rise near 28 for a high, and then fall near 19 for an overnight low.
Accumulations will range across the entirety of the area from approximately 2-5":
1-3" for portions of the Northern Tier, 2-4" for the Southern Tier, and the higher end of the range 4-5" for the Finger Lakes Region.
