Woman faces felonies after meth, crack cocaine seized in Endicott
ENDICOTT (WBNG) -- The Broome-Endicott Swat Team executed a narcotics search warrant Friday for the Broome County Special Investigations Unit Task Force at 201 Prospect Street in Endicott.
The Task Force was also assisted on scene by Endicott Police Department and Broome County Sheriff's Office Highway Patrol units, officials say.
According to the sheriff's office, crack cocaine, meth and a metal knuckle knife were seized from the apartment during the search.
Authorities say 39-year-old Tashiba Waddell was charged with the following:
Two counts, criminal sale of a controlled substance, third degree, class B felony
Three counts, criminal possession of a controlled substance, third degree, class B felony
Two counts, criminal possession of a controlled substance, seventh degree, class A misdemeanor
Criminal possession of a weapon, fourth degree, class A misdemeanor
Detectives say Waddell was also charged with previously selling crack cocaine in Binghamton.
The sheriff's office says she was arraigned in Binghamton City Court on Friday and sent to the Broome County Jail without bail.
The Broome-Endicott Swat Team includes members of the Broome County Sheriff's Office and the Endicott Police Department. The Broome County Special Investigations Unit Task Force includes members of the Broome County Sheriff's Office, the City of Binghamton Police Department, the Village of Johnson City Police Department and the Village of Endicott Police Department.
