Isolated Flash Flooding Risk Through Saturday Morning
We've got unseasonably warm morning temperatures today, with some afternoon highs reaching up into the lower 70s! After a calmer and mainly cloudy start, showers and t-storms will become likely during the late phases of our afternoon, and especially by the evening. This due to a cold front pressing through from the west. Heavy rain at times is very possible. A flash flood watch has also been issued for Chemung and Tioga counties in New York as well as Tioga and Bradford counties in Pennsylvania. Rainfall amounts will generally range from 1-2" across the region, with heavier amounts more likely to the southeast.
