A Dry Thursday Leading to Friday T-Storms
Skies will be staying mainly cloudy today as a warm front approaches from the southwest. Winds out of the south will kick up through the day with some gusts as high as 25-30mph. Afternoon temps will be seasonable with highs in the mid 60s. Showers will move in tonight with lows only in the mid-50s. Scattered showers and thunderstorms are likely for tomorrow afternoon as a cold front presses in from the west. A few of the storms could contain gusty winds and heavy downpours. Most areas will average between 0.5 and 1.0" of rain. Drier weather will return for the first half of Mother's Day weekend, with highs settling into the low 60s.
