Southport man arrested after narcotics investigation
SOUTHPORT, N.Y. (WENY) -- A Chemung County man was arrested on Wednesday after police say they seized cocaine, drug paraphernalia, digital scales, and a loaded handgun at a home on Allen Street in the Town of Southport.
According to Troopers, 32-year-old Donald Taylor was charged with criminal possession of a controlled substance, criminal possession of a weapon, and criminal use of drug paraphernalia. Investigators seized 4 grams of cocaine.
Police say the arrest came after a joint investigation by New York State Police, the Elmira Police Department, and the Chemung County Sheriff's Office.
Taylor was sent to the Chemung County Jail.
