Another strong line of storms is set to take aim at the Twin Tiers this afternoon. This line of storms is likely to form over western NY around 1 PM this afternoon and move into our western viewing area which includes Steuben and Potter counties. That line will continue to march east through the afternoon hours and could contain strong gusty winds and small hail. Tornadic threat is near zero as there is does not look to be enough spin in the atmosphere today. Biggest threat today will be damaging wind gusts of an excess of 60 MPH and small hail. The line of storms looks to exit the region around 7 PM with the chance of a lingering shower or storm.
