ENDICOTT, NY (WENY) - It was moving day at the Dick's Sporting Goods Open at En-Joie Golf Club for the PGA Tour Champions as golfers looked to make a push up the leaderboard heading into Sunday's final round.

One of the golfers who was in the mix on Saturday was Horseheads native, Joey Sindelar. Joey started the day 2-under par, just 5 strokes back of the leaders. It was an up-and-down front nine for Sindelar, as he birdied the par 3 fourth, but then followed it with back-to-back bogeys. He would then make it up with another birdie at the 8th. Sindelar parred every hole on the back nine to shoot an even par 72 and remain at 2-under for the tournament, which puts him right in the middle of the pack, tied for 34th.

After speaking with Sindelar after his round, he is pleased with where his golf game is and where he stands from all of the recent injuries he has battled.

Sindelar still has yet to find out when he tees off for Sunday's final round as there are 5 groups who still need to finish their second round at 7 AM due to Saturday's inclement weather.
