Tioga County, PA (WENY) - Police have identified the two people involved in the high-speed pursuit in Lawrence Township at the end of August.

Back on August 25th, a Lawrence Township officer observed a car speeding before it spun out in a parking lot. As we have previously reported, police say once the driver of the vehicle saw the office in the rear view mirror, the driver sped off. Police go onto say the car caught up to roughly 115 miles per hour.

The pursuit finally ended when the vehicle was ditched and those inside the car fled on foot.

According to police, 20-year-old Tristin Ahearn of Knoxville was the driver. He has been issued several charges. Ahearn's passenger was identified as 22-year-old Zane King Junior of Elkland. He has been charged with disorderly conduct.

First News Now reports that DUI is the suspected reason for the pursuit.
