Victim of fatal Ithaca fire identified
ITHACA, N.Y. (WENY) – Officials have identified the woman who was killed in a house fire in the City of Ithaca Monday.
Police say 81-year-old Sondra Hull, a “long time Ithaca resident”, was killed when a fire broke out at a home on East Buffalo Street Monday night.
As WENY News reported, firefighters put out the fire, which was coming from the back of the three-story, three family home. Firefighters found Hull after entering the building and paramedics attempted life-saving measures to save her, but were unsuccessful.
The cause of the fire is still under investigation; however, police say there is no foul play suspect at this time.
