To start the work week this week, we are expecting heavy rain to roll through the Twin Tiers, and accumulations could push near 2 inches for some spots but the sunshine will make a return. After a cold front, that will be responsible for that heavy rain, rolls through Monday high pressure will move in. High pressure will be on the heals of the cold front and move in very quickly Monday night. We are watching for a cut off low along the East Coast for some potential rain showers Wednesday and Thursday, but as of now we are expecting dry conditions with a mix of sunshine. Nonetheless, more seasonable weather conditions are on the way for the Twin Tiers later this week.
