First, we will start talking about the plentiful sunshine that we are expecting for the rest of this week! Across the Twin Tiers, high pressure will move in later tonight and deliver us plenty of sunny skies for the rest of the week and temperatures will be right around average in the mid 60s. As we go into this upcoming weekend however, we are watching out for a cold front that will roll through the region late Saturday.

This cold front will bring the next chance for shower activity across the Twin Tiers, but showers are expected to move through during the overnight hours into Sunday morning. This cold front will NOT be an arctic air outbreak, but cooler air will be ushered into the region and NEXT week. Some locations could struggle to get out of the 50s for highs and lows bottoming out into the 30s.
