ELMIRA, N.Y. (WENY) – Broadway's hit new musical, 'A Bronx Tale' is coming to Elmira this week. Two performances are scheduled for October 18th and 19th at 7:30 p.m. at the Clemens Center.

WENY was at the Clemens Center today, where we spoke with performers. The performers talked about how their hard work, time and dedication is paying off. The performers tell us they are looking forward to performing in front of a live audience and getting an audience reaction.

The actors and actresses just arrived in New York not too long ago. The performers tell us most of this production is coming together in just two short weeks. There are other performances scheduled around the country after New York.

'A Bronx Tale' is set in the 1960's. The plot mainly revolves around family and relationships. The story is about a young man who is caught between his father and a mob boss. He loves his father, but would love to be the mob boss. The tale highlights love, loyalty and respect.
