ELMIRA, N.Y. (WENY) – It was a busy afternoon at Elmira College on Saturday as the College hosted the 52nd annual Octagon Fair.

The fair kicked off at 10:00 a.m. and had a variety of vendors, games, crafts, food and entertainment for everyone. A few local food trucks were there too in case anyone was hungry.

Vendors also brought their handmade crafts ranging from blankets, dip mixes and wooden signs.

Many student clubs set up information booths to help get their message out there to the community and to other students.

“Not only can we reach out to the students who are on campus but we can reach out to the community. Elmira college is working its best towards diversity and I feel like this is a very big step towards diversity,” said Julissa Garcia, Latin X President.
