Across the region tomorrow we will see wind gusts pick up from breezy conditions in the morning to strong and even dangerous wind gusts during the afternoon. We will see wind gusts ramp up into the upper 40s and even low 50s by Wednesday evening. The National Weather Service has issued a Wind Advisory which goes into effect starting Wednesday night and lasts through the overnight period and into Thanksgiving morning. We will see gusts stay persistent through the overnight period Wednesday and into Thanksgiving morning with gusts upwards of 50 MPH. With these strong gusts across the Twin Tiers for so long, this will run the chance of seeing isolated power outages across our area. Although the chances are low, make sure you have a plan if your power does go out.
