(WENY) -- Crews are working to restore power amid the winter weather in the Twin Tiers. 

In a statement, NYSEG said the hardest hit areas include Elmira, Hornell and Ithaca service divisions, which include Allegany, Cattaraugus, Cayuga, Chemung, Cortland, Schuyler, Seneca, Steuben, Tioga, Tompkins and Wyoming counties.

Tuesday, NYSEG said they expect power to be completely restored by the end of the day.
