Early this week we will be looking at another chance for accumulating snow taking aim at the Twin Tiers. Yesterday, we were talking about the chance to see freezing rain across the region Monday night and into Tuesday, but latest model guidance has trended towards a colder and southern solution which will lead to mainly snow across the area. This trend however has not fully eliminated the freezing rain threat, it has just lessened the impacts significantly. We will be looking at a trace of ice for parts of the Northern Tier underneath what is looking at a light to moderate snowfall for that region. In the Southern Tier, we can expect mainly a snow event. Trends have also been less snow across the region, but we will continue to keep tabs on the amount of snow we could see across the region for storm totals.

However, we will be looking at a messy morning and afternoon commute for the Twin Tiers so plan extra time to get out the door on Tuesday and take extra time on your way home.
