The Mardi Gras Gala: Bourbon Street event will be held this week in Horseheads

HORSEHEADS, N.Y. (WENY) – Stephanie Miller, the Executive Vice President of Marketing and Communications at Pathways Inc. was in the studio this morning to discuss an upcoming event benefiting the Erwin Child and Family Center.
Mardi Gras Gala: Bourbon Street is this week. The event will be held on Friday, February 28th from 6:30 p.m. to 9:30 p.m. There is a new venue for this year's event. It will be at the Arnot Mall Event Center, which is the former Macy's. The entrance to the event is outside.
Tickets costs $40 in advance if you purchase them online. Those who buy tickets at the door will have to pay $45. You must be 21 years or older to attend.
You do not have to dress formal. Instead, you are encouraged to dress festive, such as wearing beads, masks and Mardi Gras colors.
There will be local restaurants, distilleries, wineries and breweries that will offer samples and tastings. You can also expect to enjoy a live music, games and activities. There will also be a silent auction and a gift basket raffle, as well as a photo booth.
Miller says this is the 16th annual fundraiser to benefit the center and the 3rd annual Mardi Gras celebration.
