An Unsettled Week Ahead

We will see another gorgeous weekend across the Twin Tiers, but this time not as warm as highs will be in the 40s, before an unsettled pattern moves in for the work week. We start the work week of with plenty of sun, but it's on Tuesday when things turn unsettled. We will be tracking a weak area of low pressure that will bring the region some spotty showers through the day Tuesday before we clear out on Wednesday. We are not done there though.
On Wednesday, we will be watching a second, stronger, area of low pressure over the Central United States that has the potential to bring us some heavier rain as we end the week. Firstly, early Thursday, some weak energy races ahead the main system and has the potential to bring the Twin Tiers some light snow before daybreak. We are not expecting anything in the way of impactful weather with this snow chance as roadways are too warm for the snow to stick and temperatures will be in the low 30s and upper 20s for overnight lows before warming up into the 40s during the afternoon. That system moves quickly to our east and then our attention will be towards the main system that will move in for Friday. We will be watching this system for a chance of heavier rain to move into the Twin Tiers. The uncertainty with rainfall amounts continues to remain high as we are a little under a week away, but nonetheless a system looks to impact the region on Friday along with breezy conditions.
