ELMIRA, N.Y. (WENY) -- With New York's June 23 Democratic presidential primary back on, Chemung County is releasing its schedule for early voting.

The New York State Board of Elections says this period opens Saturday, June 13.

The polls at the Chemung County Board of Elections, 378 S. Main Street in Elmira, will be open:

  • Saturday, June 13, 9:00 a.m. - 2:00 p.m.
  • Sunday, June 14, 9:00 a.m. - 2:00 p.m.
  • Monday, June 15, 9:30 a.m. - 5:30 p.m.
  • Tuesday, June 16, 12:00 p.m. - 8:00 p.m.
  • Wednesday, June 17, 12:00 p.m. - 8:00 p.m.
  • Thursday, June 18, 8:00 a.m. - 4:00 p.m.
  • Friday, June 19, 9:30 a.m. - 5:30 p.m.
  • Saturday, June 20, 9:00 a.m. - 2:00 p.m.
  • Sunday, June 21, 9:00 a.m. - 2:00 p.m.

For everyone's safety, county officials will be requiring voters to wear a mask when entering the building. A mask will be provided for those who do not have one.

Early voting for the General Election opens October 24.
