We have seen rather humid conditions this weekend and that looks to continue as we head into the beginning of the work week. Relief is on the way however in the form of a cold front. Timing of this front is still uncertain, but has left us with two scenarios as of today. The first scenario will be a slower progressing front which means that showers and storm Tuesday will hold off until the evening and overnight hours and humidity relief won't come until late Wednesday morning. This scenario will also significantly decrease the chances for a severe storm to move across the Twin Tiers Tuesday afternoon.

The second scenario includes a faster moving front which means the cold front swings through earlier Tuesday and relief from the humidity will come overnight Tuesday. This second scenario will also mean a greater chance for a severe storm to work its way through as storms pop during the peak heating hours of the middle afternoon. Timing of the front will become more understandable as we head into Monday morning when models will likely come into an agreement so, until then stick with us as we keep you updated!
