With our next weather maker early this week, we will also be seeing another shot of rain. We are currently experiencing a severe to moderate drought across the majority of the viewing area and more help is on the way from Mother Nature. As of now, it looks like we will be seeing rainfall amounts between .5" and 1" with localized higher amounts. Area creeks and streams are still running slightly below levels and this upcoming rain event should help, but we would need more consistency for rain events to get levels back to normal. Over the next week to two weeks, the pattern is favorable for stormy weather, whether it'd be rain or snow.
