Winter's chill will be felt across the Twin Tiers this evening and into the day Wednesday. We aren't expecting a bitter chill, but feels like temperatures will again find themselves in the teens for some. Through the day Tuesday, cold air will continue to rush in locally, not allowing temperatures to warm up this afternoon. This afternoon temperatures are expected to drop into the mid and low 30s. Breezy conditions will also pick up this evening causing feels like temperatures to drop into the 20s. The breezy conditions will continue tonight and through Wednesday. Temperatures Wednesday morning will be in the 20s and when we factor in the winds, the wind chill for many will be near 20 and in the teens for the higher elevations. The sun will come out in the afternoon but with the breezy conditions expected, it won't feel much warmer with wind chills near 30 in the afternoon. Make sure you keep the Winter gear handy over the next couple days before we turn seasonable late this week!
