Weekend Forecast

We flip the switch this weekend when compared to last weekend. Last weekend we had well above average temperatures and plenty of sun before rain moved in on Sunday. This weekend, we will be much cooler. Our average high this time of year is near 60 degrees, but this weekend we will have highs in the 50s. Saturday will be cooler as low pressure off the East Coast keeps us cool. We will also see mainly cloudy skies throughout the day with a spotty sprinkle possible. Most of us, if not all, will be on the dry side. The better chance for showers arrives on Sunday.
A weak slow moving cold front approaches the Twin Tiers on Sunday and brings us an increased chance for showers on Sunday. Sunday is not a washout by any means, but a few scattered showers will move through during the afternoon hours. There will also be a better chance for sun on Sunday, but most of the day will be filled with cloud cover. Hopefully we can get back to dry and warm weekends soon, but it does look like the cool and unsettled conditions will continue into next week.
