We made it through another week, but how is the weekend going to look?

Sadly, it is looking like rain will be in the forecast for both weekend days.

Let's start on Saturday. High temperatures will be quite cool for this time of the year, with highs only reaching the mid-50s. Average highs should be near 66 degrees, so we are running about 10 degrees below normal. While it will not be a washout by any means, scattered showers develop as we head towards the afternoon hours. While it won't give us as much rain as what is expected Friday, we can still see about a tenth of an inch of new rainfall. The good news some clearing occurs as we head towards the evening hours Saturday, which will give us some time to dry out.

Mother's Day starts off on the dry side, and we may even see some sun during the mid-morning hours. However, by the time we get to the early afternoon, clouds build back in and some scattered showers will develop. There won't be much in the way of new rainfall, but if you have any plans outside for the day, the best time would be in the Morning, before those showers develop. Highs on Sunday will also be below-average, with highs only topping out in the low 60s. The cooler trend will continue as we head into next week.
