Hornell man indicted after July armed robbery at Elmira 7-Eleven

ELMIRA, N.Y. (WENY) – A Hornell man was indicted by a Chemung County grand jury after allegedly robbing an Elmira convenience store by gunpoint.
As WENY News reported, on July 22, 34-year-old Sean Battle was arrested and charged with robbery. Police say they were called out to the 7-Eleven on North Main Street for reports of that robbery. Police say Battle pulled out a gun, demanded money and took off in a car.
Later in the day, officers say they found Battle at a home on Davis Street and placed him under arrest.
Monday, the Chemung County District Attorney’s office reported Battle was indicted on one charge of robbery in the second degree, a felony.
