Cold air will takeover today, following a low pressure system that passed by last night. A northwesterly flow follows this low pressure system throughout the day with lake effect snow showers on tap.

Cooler temperatures will be ushered in with this northwesterly flow. Afternoon highs stay below freezing, reaching for the mid 20s. With wind gusts up to 25 mph, it will feel like 16 degrees at most. 

Feel-like temperatures will plummet this evening with lows in single digits.
