Five people facing felony charges in drug bust in Hornell

HORNELL, N.Y. (WENY) - Five people are facing felony charges after a drug bust in Hornell.
Hornell Police stopped a vehicle in the Hornell plaza around 3 PM on January 25th. The people in the car allegedly had fentanyl and cocaine according to police.
From the Rochester area, Tessa Smith, Michael Brown, Quinjavis Lewis, Jared Perry, and Kafaya Sweet were all arrested for criminal possession of controlled substance.
Police said that Smith was also arrested on 10 counts of Criminal Possession of Stolen Property for having credit cards that were reported stolen in Ontario County. Lewis and Perry were also under New York State Parole supervision at the time.
Further charges are expected.
