We are off to a very quiet start this week. High pressure dominates the eastern half of the US leading to fair weather. Our next disturbance in this pattern will come Wednesday evening. A low pressure system to our north will slide east, dragging a cold front and bringing the chance of passing snow showers early in the day Thursday.

This front will not have a dramatic impact on the temperatures. Thursday will be about 5 degrees cooler than Wednesday with highs near 40 degrees.

Our next chance of precipitation will arrive Saturday as another front moves through our region. This will bring a mix of rain and snow showers Saturday with much colder temperatures following. Sunday's highs will top out in the low 20s.
