ITHACA, N.Y. (WENY) - Around 3 AM early Monday morning, the Ithaca Police Department responded to shots fired at the 500 Block of Cascadilla Street.

Upon arrival to the scene, IPD found the victim inside the residence with gunshot wounds. The victim was then transported to a regional trauma center and is expected to recover.

The house also had damage from numerous gun shot rounds.

At this time, no information has been provided about the shooter.
