TOWANDA, P.A. (WENY) -- Students from the Northern Tier Career Center have the opportunity to begin career networking this week as part of NTCC’s first-ever Employers’ Week.   

From May 2nd through May 6th, students can meet with local employers at the Northern Tier Career Center. Opportunities are being offered in industries related to healthcare, manufacturing, construction trades, and transportation. Roughly 40 employers participated throughout the week, with about ten showing up each day.  

“What our goal is at the end of the year, we always look for options and opportunities,” “We wanted to provide, not only our students with options and opportunities, but our local employers the ability to come in and meet with students to hopefully gain future employees.”   

The vocation school hopes to host Employers’ Week again next spring. Information about upcoming NTCC events is on their website.
