CORNING, N.Y. (WENY) -- The first annual Moonlight Market is set to make its way to Corning this Friday for a night full of magic, crafts and fun.

Organized by Phoenix Belle and Sarina Lynn of "Burn and Brew Elixirs," the main purpose of the Moonlight Market is to bring together anyone who feels they haven't found their place in the community.

"It was created as a way to help bring out the different communities: the alternative communities, the witchy communities, the crystal lovers, the nature lovers [and more]" said Belle.

The craft and metaphysical fair will feature over 30 vendors and small businesses throughout the region.

"A lot of them make their own products such as body care and self-care products," said Lynn. "We do have a few vendors that will be selling their own crystals, [as well as] a few vendors that will be offering their own [tarot card and psychic] readings."

Belle and Lynn's business "Burn and Brew Elixirs" will also have their own stand at the market.

"We have a bunch of herbal remedies and homemade products," said Belle. "We have altar cloths, little witchy bags, lotion bars, [intentional room and body sprays], candles and other products of that nature."

The event will also feature two different types of spiritual classes: a moonlight class and a yoga class.

"The moonlight class is focused on this upcoming solar eclipse/blood moon happening," said Belle. "The teacher is going to be Paula Lee, who is a local holistic healer. The yoga class is going to be a moon-age sage yoga. That is also going to be a full moon, lunar cycle yoga class."

The Moonlight Market will take place on Friday, May 13 from 4 p.m. to 8 p.m. in Corning's Centennial Park. For more information about the event, you can visit the Moonlight Magic Facebook event here. You can also view a list of the vendors down below.
