ELMIRA, N.Y. (WENY) - Four men, two of them teens, have been arrested on multiple weapons charges after a traffic stop on the southside of Elmira early Tuesday morning.

EPD officers conducted a traffic stop at around 12:40 AM Tuesday morning near South Main Street.

During the stop, officers found a barrel of a shotgun hidden under clothing. After further investigation, the officers also located two handguns in the car.

It was later discovered that one of the handguns was reported as stolen from a house in Elmira back in 2019.

Kyler Brenzo, 18, Juwan Brooks, 25, Levon Lloyd, 23, and a sixteen year old male were in the car. EPD said that one of the passengers ran and hid behind a nearby house.

All of the men have been charged with criminal possession of a weapon.

The Elmira Police Department was assisted by the Chemung County Sheriff's Office.
