Scattered thunderstorms will pick up this evening as a cold front approaches from the west.

These storms will begin to roll in at 3 PM. There is a potential for heavy rainfall as this line of thunderstorms stalls. Over an inch of rain is possible between this afternoon and tomorrow morning. Flooding is threat with this front, especially in low-lying areas and parts of the region with poor drainage.

A few showers will linger tomorrow before drier conditions take over for the weekend.
