ELMIRA, N.Y. (WENY) - Capriotti Properties has announced plans for renovations of the Mark Twain building including plans for a new sushi bar, outdoor seating, and the restoration of the building's exterior.

The company says the upper half of the building will be complete by the end of this month. After the renovations are complete, Capriotti plans to begin pressure washing the exterior of the building.

They say it will get rid of decades of grime and reveal stone work found on the building's facade.

Future plans include a sushi bar on the third floor in collaboration with Beijing Garden, which will include a spacious outdoor seating area overlooking Wisner Park.

A larger outdoor space will sit atop the second floor facing Main Street, featuring a rooftop garden. 

Other projects include 110 North Main, an upcoming development at the former Iszard's building, and previously announced commercial space rentals at 1 through 8 Clemens Square.
