ITHACA, N.Y. (WENY) - A tour showcasing a form of agricultural practice is coming to Cornell this fall.

Silvopasturing is a farming practice that combine trees with grazing livestock operations on the same land. Cornell's Cooperative Extension is hosting a tour showcasing various silvopasturing practices on September 15th and 16th.

Participants will tour several farms over those two days to learn how the practices are utilized in the Southern Finger Lakes Region.

People can register until September 12th. Early registration is $69 and will close Monday, August 15th. Regular registration ($89) will close September 12th.
