Two Men Sentenced After Investigation into Alleged Prostitution Ring
BATH, N.Y. (WENY) - Two men were sentenced following an investigation into an alleged prostitution ring in Steuben County.
Larry Comfort, Jr. will spend the next six months in the Steuben County jail, followed by five years of supervision after he's released. He was sentenced on a charge of attempted promotion of prostitution.
Steuben County legislator Steven Maio was also sentenced to three months probation.
Maio and Comfort were part of four men indicted in 2021 accused of being involved in a criminal prostitution enterprise between 2015 and 2020.
