(WENY)-- 171 Cedar Arts Center in Corning is providing scholarships to area youth and adults to help make private music lessons, dance lessons, visual arts, ceramics, and fitness classes like Tai Chi and fencing accessible to all members.

Executive Director of Cedar Arts Beth Landin tells us more about this opportunity and how you can apply

"So this year we hope to award about twenty thousand dollars worth of scholarship funds and this year we are fortunate again to receive fifteen thousand dollars of funds in addition to our five standing scholarship funds that can be given away for students that are interested in our broad range of classes that include dance, range of dance classes, ballet, jazz, tap ,hip hop, modern, and other classes as well including visual arts drawing and painting. We have digital arts, drawing,  painting ceramics, and some host of fitness classes as well like yoga tai chi and even fencing."
