CORNING, N.Y. (WENY) - Street closures in Corning's Gaffer District will take place this weekend for this year's Harvest festival.

Four blocks of Market Street will be closed beginning at 3 P-M on Friday and will last all weekend until 3 P-M on Sunday. The harvest festival marks the unofficial start to the Fall season in Corning's Gaffer District.

People can enjoy outdoor dining, live music, and street vendors during the three-day free event.

The street closure for HARVEST Festival will occur at two separate times.

Closures from September 16, 2022 at 3:00 pm to September 18, 2022 at 3:00pm:

  • Market St. (Wall to Cedar)
  • Market St. (Cedar to Walnut)
  • Market St. (Walnut to Chestnut)
  • Pine St. (Market to Burmese)

Closures from September 17, 2022 at 11:00 am to September 17, 2022 at 9:00pm:

  • Wall St (Aurene to Burmese)
  • Walnut St (Aurene to Burmese)
  • Cedar St (Tioga to Burmese)

Closures from September 17, 2022 at 7:00 am to September 17, 2022 at 9:00pm:

  • Market St (Chestnut to Tarentelli)
