As an upper level trough remains the dominant feature during the first half of the week, wet and dreary weather will be likely.  This trough is associated with a series of disturbances that will begin to impact our region beginning on Sunday.  Sunday morning, a warm front will push on through the region with scattered showers. On the heels of this warm front, is a cold front that will maintain showers and possible thunderstorms in the afternoon and evening.

More showers and thunderstorms are expected through Wednesday. Rainfall totals should remain on the light to moderate side outside of thunderstorms.  High Pressure builds back from the west on Thursday  resulting in drier weather.
