As the low pressure over Southeast Canada lingers, cloudy skies and unseasonably cool temperatures will persist. Highs will remain generally below 50 degrees along with scattered rain/ snow showers.  Portions of Steuben, Potter and Tioga (Pennsylvania) counties saw their first flakes for the season this morning. As expected, theses showers were light and brief. Rising temperatures this afternoon will turn majority of the snow showers into rain showers.  However, some snow showers are likely to remain over Potter county where temperatures could remain in the upper 30s in some spots.
