Mostly sunny skies and above-average temperatures are likely today with temperatures in the mid-60s. Increasing clouds into Thursday night will allow temperatures to stay relatively mid overnight with a low of 48. Hurricane Nicole's remnants are expected to bring heavy rain and gusty winds to our area on Friday. Rainfall is expected to be from 2-3" and localized higher amounts are possible. By Saturday morning, the remnants are expected to leave our neck of the woods and temperatures will be more seasonable in the mid 50s. Mostly cloudy skies and drier conditions are likely Saturday afternoon. However, Sunday we will see temperatures drop by 10 degrees into the mid-40s. There is a chance for rain and snow showers as low temperatures will drop to 30 and below into the next week. Temperatures will struggle to get out of the 40s into the early part of next week. Our next system will move into the area Wednesday with the chance for rain and snow showers likely.
