Partly sunny skies are expected Thursday and Friday with temperatures in the upper-30s. A cold Canadian air mass is likely to bring below-average temperatures into our neck of the woods this weekend. Temperatures will struggle to get out of the 30s under partly sunny skies Saturday, with similar conditions expected on Sunday. A lake-effect snow shower cannot be ruled out as a front will push through the area with accumulations expected to be less than one inch. However, these lake-effect snow showers will impact anyone in Buffalo, NY. They are expected to see snowfall rates near 3" an hour with accumulations getting up to 3 feet or more of snow in that area. Therefore, if you are planning on going to the Buffalo Bills game you may need a jacket.... and possibly a shovel. The start of the next week, temperatures are expected to be warmer in the 40s. A "heat wave" will bring temperatures into the mid-40s Tuesday and near 50 degrees on Wednesday under fair skies.
