We are expecting a mild and dry Thanksgiving Day with high temperatures approaching 50 degrees. The weather becomes complicated post-Thanksgiving Day, as a storm system moves into our region. As of this morning, all models show a potent storm system moving into our region sometime this weekend. Additionally, all models show showers on Black Friday, but the exact day of the main storm system varies. While the American model has sct'd showers on Black Friday, this particular model has the main storm system pushing into our area on Sunday with widespread rains and wind. Conversely, the European model is much earlier with the storm system affecting us Friday and Saturday
The key take-away points are...models do agree on a quite robust system this weekend. This system could contain gusty winds. Stay with us, as we track this storm system all week.
