High pressure will dominate the region into Thanksgiving with plenty of sunshine and highs in the 50s. Anyone traveling before Thanksgiving should have no weather delays in our next of the woods, but things will change going into Friday. A cold front will work through the Twin Tiers Friday with rain showers likely. Temperatures will be in the upper 40s and rainfall accumulations will be less than 0.25". If you are heading out shopping on Black Friday for the deals, an umbrella may come in handy. Drier conditions will follow on Saturday as a high pressure system briefly rises temperatures into the low to mid 50s. Another low pressure system will push through the area on Sunday with rain likely once again. Temperatures will remain on the warmer side with highs in the lower 50s. Rainfall amounts will be less than 0.5". Rain could transition into snow overnight Sunday into Monday as some showers will linger into Monday morning. Seasonable temperatures will be likely early next week with partly sunny skies.
