Changeable Conditions Thursday & Friday
A warm front will lift through the Twin Tiers on Thursday with a mix of rain and snow likely. A slushy coating to an inch of accumulation is possible. Warmer temperatures are likely Thursday night into early Friday morning with periods of rain. A strong cold front will follow with temperatures Friday morning expected to drop out of the 40s and into the 20s and teens by midday. A flash freeze is possible along with an inch or so of snow, which will result in slippery driving conditions. Cold and blustery conditions are likely for the holiday weekend with wind chills on Saturday expected to remain below zero.
