CORNING, N.Y. (WENY) -- Corning's Centerway Square has been nominated for “Best Public Square” as part of USA Today’s 2023 "10Best Readers’ Choice Awards."

The nomination comes almost 10 years after the square was named one of Travel and Leisure's "15 Most Beautiful Town Squares in America." Home to local art galleries and studios, more than 100 boutique shops and local restaurants, Centerway Square received both honors based on beauty, appeal and business it had to offer.

Members of the public are allowed to vote once per day for four weeks. To vote for Corning’s Centerway Square, click here. Voting runs through Feb. 6 at 11:59 a.m. EST. Winners will be announced soon after.
