Steuben County Man Arrested For Withholding Utilities, Resisting Arrest

BATH, N.Y. (WENY) - A Steuben County man was arrested after allegedly withholding utilities from a tenant and then later allegedly injuring a sheriff's deputy.
According to the county sheriff's office, 55 year old Scott Wilkins of Bath allegedly withheld utilities from a tenant in violation of a court order.
Wilkins also allegedly resisted arrest, causing injury to the sheriff's deputy arresting him. Wilkins was charged with assault, resisting arrest, criminal contempt and willful violation of a lease term.
The deputy was treated at a local medical facility and released.
